Pranav Dhanawade a 15 year old school boy from Mumbai managed to make a record of 1,009 runs in one innings. He became the first batsman to score 1,000 runs in one innings and also beat the previous record which was set by AEJ Collins in 1899.

Pranav Dhanawade the son of a Mumbai rickshaw driver who represented his school (KC Gandhi School) against Arya Gurukul School on a two day tournament which was recognized by the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Dhanawade managed to make 652 runs in 199 balls on Monday and reached a record of 1,009 runs today with a total number of 59 sixes, 129 fours and with a strike rate of 312.38.
