Research proved that the milk collected from cows in the night contains high amount of tryptophan and melatonin, which is effective to aid sleep and reduce nervousness in the body.

The research was carried out in Sahmyook University in Seoul, South Africa where the experiment was done on the mice by giving them milk collected at night. However, the findings proved that the night milk contains Melatonin naturally occurring hormone which helps to regulate sleep and walk cycle and a Tryptophan can be converted in Melatonin and Serotonin.

The effects seen on mice after consuming night milk, that they were significantly less active than those given the day milk.

The research was published in the Journal of Medicinal Food. However, findings will be helpful for human beings to release stress and regulate proper sleep.
