India and Japan signed an agreement with number of beneficial promises regarding defence and nuclear energy and building of first bullet train linking between Mumbai-Ahemdabad here in summit on Saturday.

The agreement was signed between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japnese counterpart Shinzo Abe in a summit in Hyderabad House New Delhi. Both had also a discussion on the international and regional issues of mutual importance including UN security reforms.

Terming as “historic” sign the decisions included construction of high speed trains between Mumbai and Ahemdabad and civil nuclear agreement for Japan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced “visa for arrivals” to all Japnese citizens from March 1, 2016.

On this occasion Modi said “India and Japan will shape an Asian century in our vision and values” as they realize Vision 2025 of their ties.
