Coconut Development Board Institute of Technology (CDBIT) launched a new diabetic-friendly biscuits that explores the innovation of diabetic-friendly biscuits. CDB official Annie Eapen elaborates the health advantages of this coconut biscuits that it is gluten free, rich in fibre, has minerals and proteins and the conventional cane sugar is replaced by Neera Sugar (sap present in flower bud of coconut tree)

The biscuits have varied combination of flavors such as ragi, oatmeal, corn flour and whole wheat grain.
