For improving the quality of services, Bharti Airtel could be investing Rs 60,000 crore for Project Leap.
The 10- point program, â€˜Project Leapâ€™ could be seen improving the network of Airtel. Network modernization, Carbon footprint reduction by 70%, copper line up gradation and making the customers understand the project are some initiatives of the project.
Talking about the investment in â€˜Project Leapâ€™, Bharti Airtel India and south Asia MD and CEO Gopal Vitthal said, â€œWe are confident that this new initiative will deliver a truly differentiated customer experience and reinforce our commitment to build a future ready network.â€
Through this investment Broadband speed for Airtel customers could reach up to 50 Mbps by 2016.
