For improving the quality of services, Bharti Airtel could be investing Rs 60,000 crore for Project Leap.

The 10- point program, ‘Project Leap’ could be seen improving the network of Airtel. Network modernization, Carbon footprint reduction by 70%, copper line up gradation and making the customers understand the project are some initiatives of the project.

Talking about the investment in ‘Project Leap’, Bharti Airtel India and south Asia MD and CEO Gopal Vitthal said, “We are confident that this new initiative will deliver a truly differentiated customer experience and reinforce our commitment to build a future ready network.”

Through this investment Broadband speed for Airtel customers could reach up to 50 Mbps by 2016.
