World's most elderly Olympian Guo Jie, passed away at the age of 103.

Guo Jie had represented China in the discus throw at Berlin Olympics in 1936.

According to the sources; Guo passed away on Sunday and his funeral is kept on Tuesday at Xi'an, a capital city of northwestern China's Shaani Province.

Guo was born in Dalian in January 1912 and was an amazing player at distinct sports, but was a key performer in discus that he exceeds by winning in Olympics and seeds in national qualify in 1935 by establishing a national record of 41.07 metre.
