On a view to wash out history of loosing back-to-back T20 and ODI's on homeland against South Africa, today in Mohali India opened up its magical cards before the guest team South Africa in an important Test series of Freedom Trophy and took the lead by winning first test in Mohali out of four Tests match series.

Since, the first day of match and from the first innings team India was on fire where the team scored 201 all out where Murali Vijay scored 75, Cheteshwar Pujara scored 31 and Ravidra Jadeja scored 38. While, South Africa on second day of the first innings with view to chase the score and took a lead were stopped by Indian spinners on 184 in the first innings and lacked by 18 runs in the test, where AB de Villiers scored 63 and Hashim Amla played 43 to take pick up for their team but failed.

On the third day of second innings when Indian batsman's stood on the crease scored 200 all out in 75.3 overs where Cheteshwar Pujara scored 77 with his massive thundering bat against South Africa and proved one of the leading batsman of India in Test. While, Murali Vijay scored 47 in support and all the team work put India on lead by 218 runs which was too difficult on peach like Mohali which supports spin. It was a difficult target for South Africa against Indian spinner where South Africa failed.

While, playing his debut match on homeland young captain Virat Kohli made a mind game plan to take 3 spinners in team on the peach like Mohali and wash the dream of South Africa to win this Test from first innings of the match. This plan proved successful as Kohli knew that South African batsman can't play against spin that great young Indian spinners like Ashwin, Jadeja and Mishra bowled as wicket takers.

The comeback of Ashwin in the team during the Test played a moral support for the team to win this game. The born young Indian spinners Ashwin and Jadeja along with Mishra and fast bowler Aron stucked up South African innings in difficulties. Ravichandran Ashwin took 5/51 in first innings and 3/39 in second innings, Jadeja who took 3/55 in first innings and opened up is arms by taking important and big wickets 5/21 in second innings. While Mishra took 2/38 in first innings and 1 wicket in second inning and Aron took 1 wicket in second and shared their part in India's win in the first Test.

While, the Indian bowlers were playing brilliant against South Africa, the South African bowlers too played well. Dean Elgar 4/22 in first innings and Imran Tahir 2/33 in first innings and 4/48 in second innings. While Vernon Philander took 2/38 in first innings and Simon Harmer 4/61 in second innings showed South Africa's strength of bowling. But, South African batting line played poor in both the innings against spin except AB de Villiers to score 63 in first innings and Stiaan van Zyl to score 36 in second innings.

On the third day Indian bowlers stooped South Africa 109 all out in 35.93 overs and took a lead in series by 1-0 out of 4 Tests series. "We played result-oriented. Our bowlers bowled well in both the innings against South Africa. Even the batting was not too easy on the peach of Mohali, but batsman had done their jobs really well on the peach, which gain us today's win", Virat Kohli said after the match in a press conference.

Hence, India's lead in the match fulfilled Virat's dream to win his first debut match under his captaincy in homeland and even wrapped up the past failure and showed South Africa the real strength that how Indian bowlers can distract the dream of the competitors of winning the game.
