Major milk producing state in India, Uttar Pradesh will now have 72 milk parlours along with chilling and dairy plants in its 15 districts.

Milk is a perishable product and needs utmost care to be taken for preserving while using it as an industrial product. The aim behind setting up these big plants in Uttar Pradesh is to strengthen the milk marketing system.

The parlours are going to be develop in Mirzapur, Allahabad, Aligarh, Noida, Jhansi, Faziabad, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Farrukhbad, Shahjahanpur, Bulandshahr, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Basti and Bahraich.

Chief Secretary of Uttar pradesh Alok Ranjan has also instructed officials concerned to prepare proposals for construction of 1,000 metric ton capacity warehouses in Mandi (market) premises.

Today, India is known as 'The Oyster' of the Global dairy industry. India is one of world's major milk producer country. Hence, these developments in Uttar Pradesh will definitely show up-growing market trend in milk business and growth in production of milk products in India.
