Claimed to be doctor’s negligence for the death of a one-and-a half year-old baby, the parents and relatives created ruckus in Aryan Hospital, Gurgaon.

Said to be diagnosed with dengue by the doctors, the baby was admitted by its parents on account of viral fever. Later, by performing test the doctors claimed the baby suffering from dengue.

Blaming the doctors, parents alleged that the baby’s condition was critical and there was no senior doctor present in the hospital. Further, they added that the doctors even referred the dead boy to another hospital. The anger exceeds when doctors misbehaved with the parents even in the presence of police.

Doctors termed all allegations to be baseless, as no written complaint was filed so far, no FIR was registered said the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hawa Singh.

Gurgaon CMO Ramesh Dhankar said, “Private hospitals have already banned from listing patients as dengue-hit without a confirmed test report from a government laboratory. It will be inquired into how Aryan hospital confirmed dengue without an authentic report from a government lab.”
